Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood have decided to go into quarantine after they, and their camp, were potentially exposed to coronavirus.

The country couple announced today that they would have to cancel their upcoming Inside Studio G concert as they head into quarantine for precaution.

“Out of an abundance of caution, Garth Brooks is moving his and Trisha Yearwood’s July 7th Facebook concert to a later date and postponing Inside Studio G for 2 weeks,” an announcement read on their official sites.

It continues, “While Garth and Trisha are fine, the Garth/Trisha camp has possibly been exposed to the Covid-19 virus. To be smart about this, they are all quarantining for 2 weeks and thank everyone for their concern.”

While Garth and Trisha are fine at the moment, their choice to go self-isolate is a smart one, given the coronavirus numbers that keep increasing across the nation as businesses and people started to return to “normal”.

At the beginning of the pandemic, Garth and Trisha put on a Facebook Live concert which crashed the site, before hosting it on CBS.

With the massive success of the Hamilton movie this weekend, there has also been a renewed conversation about the show and how it portrays history.

Some people on social media have accused Lin-Manuel Miranda of glorifying slave owners. Even though Alexander Hamilton despised slavery, he has been accused of being complicit as he had several friends who owned slaves, including George Washington.

Lin took to Twitter on Monday (July 6) and responded to a thread that debated the critiques the show is facing.

Tracy Clayton tweeted, “hamilton is a flawed play about flawed people written by an imperfect person that gave my flawed and imperfect little life a big boost when i needed it most, so again i know im biased, but i do appreciate the change this illustrates & will be following the convo’s evolution.”

Lin responded and said that “all the criticisms are valid” and explained why he didn’t include slavery in the show.

“Appreciate you so much, @brokeymcpoverty. All the criticisms are valid. The sheer tonnage of complexities & failings of these people I couldn’t get. Or wrestled with but cut. I took 6 years and fit as much as I could in a 2.5 hour musical. Did my best. It’s all fair game,” he said.

Kristian Alfonso has revealed that she has left Days of Our Lives after 37 years on the daytime soap opera.

In a statement posted to her Instagram, Kristian shared with fans that she has already filmed her final episodes.

“Days of Our Lives has been a vital part of both my personal and professional journey. I am forever grateful to NBC and the late Betty Corday, who took a chance on me many years ago and changed my life,” she started. “I have built some lifelong friendships with my extraordinarily talented castmates.”

Kristian continues, “Days has one of the hardest working crews in all of television, many of whom have become part of my extended family. I feel blessed and honored to have been invited into people’s homes for over three decades. However, it is now time for me to write my next chapter.”

“I will not be returning to Days when it resumes production in September. I’ve already filmed my last episodes several months ago.”

Kristian concludes, “Finally — to the incredibly loyal fans of Days — many of you have been with me on this journey from the beginning. I cannot thank you enough for your generosity, love and support. I could not have done it without YOU!!!”

Chace Crawford puts his fit body on display while hanging out by the pool on Thursday (July 2) in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

The 34-year-old former Gossip Girl actor was seen going shirtless while hanging out with friends at a resort. He was spotted practicing his golf swing with an imaginary golf club at one point.

Christina Applegate is opening up about why season three is a good way to end her Netflix series, Dead To Me.

Netflix announced the third and final season earlier today, with a statement from creator Liz Feldman.

“From start to finish, Dead To Me is exactly the show I wanted to make,” she shared. “And it’s been an incredible gift. Telling a story sprung from grief and loss has stretched me as an artist and healed me as a human.”

Liz added, “I’ll be forever indebted to my partners in crime, my friends for life, Christina and Linda, and our brilliantly talented writers, cast and crew. I am beyond grateful to Netflix for supporting Dead To Me from day one.”

Christina also reacted to the news that season three would wrap up the series.

“I will miss these ladies. But we felt this was the best way to tie up the story of these women,” she tweeted. “Thank you to all the fans. We will be getting back to work when it is safe to do so.”
